YO, THIS GOES HARD

You never fail to amaze me with how you approach coloring your artwork. I'll admit, the background really does scream *eyestrain* more than your previous work tends to, yet it manages to not be super distracting from the main focus of the art itself. In fact, I've noticed as I'm writing that there's some hidden text inside the background itself. No clue what any of it means, but the FNAF kid in me has a soft spot for finding little "easter eggs" like that in images.

The crimson coat is also very visually pleasing to me. It almost looks like someone tried visualizing rushing blood with the way the light and darker shades of red spread out across the coat. And the blue on the zipper, shirt and eyes provides a nice contrast!

And having noticed that this art is in relation to Death Note, the signature text having an edgy font that kinda resembles DN's logo is some great attention to detail as well!

This is a really stylish illustration! Kinda feels like a modernized old Sonic advertisement, which I suppose is fitting, given the logo for it is visible.

I like how energetic the whole piece is visually, especially with Coney's pose and the way she enthusiastically eats the Chili Cheese Dog with an anime-esque open smile.

(Sorry to hear about your dad losing his job. Hopefully he finds another one soon!)

NOOOOO SHE DIED-

Idk what game those two achievements come from (really appreciate the explicit context), but I find the combination of them here to be really creative, and the dead Mildew provides a touch of comedy to the whole picture.

Almost forgot to write a review for this 'cus Newgrounds went down for maitenance earlier (big L), lol.

I already said this was fantastic in Discord, but I wanna be more in-depth about it here. For starters, the presentation is superb; a noticeable step-up in regards to the artstyle, particularly. Now, I will say that the background looks rather off; for it's hard to tell exactly where Flame and your sona are at, even with repeated glances - the lamp(?) at the bottom right-hand corner could also confuse some viewers a lot.

Another oddity I've noticed as I'm writing is in your sona's expression. The eyes aren't aimed at Flame's and the blank stare is a tad jarring upon closer inspection. On the other hand, Flame himself looks great, and the Fatal Error shirt looking confused adds a nice touch of charm to the whole thing.

Aside from those critiques, this is still a great illustration. It just needs some bug fixes, if you get what I mean.

yeah i tried to reference the art by the scott priligam art style a bit (and note, it was challenging as hell around the time i was drawing it) but thanks,,

This is the best big eagle I've ever seen. The shading and lighting is emmaculate here; I can imagine this eagle being a PSA mascot from the 80s or 90s who educates people about stuff like gun safety and self-defense while having the most badass-sounding music playing in the background.

erm what the sigma

I just noticed this as I'm typing, but the color palettes for the bikini and burger are completely swapped; now it looks like the fox woman is eating a burger-shaped American flag while the bikini's prolly designed to have a burger scent when someone gets close. Although speaking of the fox woman (i forgor her name srry), I like that she's positioned in a side-profile. It's not too common to see curvaceous characters from the side, so it makes for some useful reference material. And her expression's pretty cute, too.

The tbh creature-shaped Bocat(?) in the left-hand corner - and her accompaning Gen Alpha brainrot - adds a touch of humor, which is a thing I enjoy most in some suggestive artwork. The same applies to the random eagle images in the background; I think a third eagle picture would make the visual gag feel more complete.

Kalmoire responds:

Aung! Thanx! 💥 and myea yea it's Conefop and Bocat !

Everyone who partook in this collab did an amazing job here! Seeing a whole bunch of different artstyles and OCs and the occassional fanart is fantastic, too!

I'm sure plenty of artists will be inspired by this epic art collab.

Been lurking through your gallery for a while and I have really enjoyed all these renditions of moments from TTYD drawn in the style of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show (I think that's the correct one?). The way each of these drawings captures the old-timey feel of the show makes it almost appear like mock-up screenshots of previously unseen episodes or promotional material for The Thousand-Year Door - doubly so had there been a semi-transparent logo for whatever TV program aired the Mario Bros. Super Show added on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

I am eager to see what other events from everyone's favorite Paper Mario game receives the Super Show treatment.

This guy needs an official spin-off game, and this exact style of graphics would be perfect for him; it breathes so much life into his design and character.

I can imagine his roll ability being adapted into a Sonic-esque Spin Dash move for mobility and combat.

this is peak fiction

I love how you're able to replicate the artstyle of each individual artist's rendition of Sonic and co. in this piece. It's like one big crossover between a bunch of people's differing takes on the funny blue hedgehog and his many friends (and foes)!

Eldritch artist on the spectrum. I make SFW and NSFW art; minors begone.
